Searching Ecological Alternatives of Life (Seal)
Nuorisokeskus on partneriorganisaationa mukana kaksivuotisessa Erasmus+ kouluyhteistyöhankkeessa, jota koordinoi lukio, Akdeniz Anadolu Lisesi Turkista ja muita yhteistyökumppaneita ovat toisen asteen oppilaitokset Romaniasta (Seminarul Teologic Liceal Ortodox ”Sf. Gheorghe” Botosani), Bulgariasta (Profesionalna gimnazia po transport ”Goce Delchev” ), Puolasta (II Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace w Gdansku ) ja Kroatiasta (Gimnazija Josipa Slavenskog Cakovec).
Jokaisessa maassa järjestetään vuorollaan koulutustapaaminen kestävien elämäntapojen ja ekologisten valintojen ympärille kootuista teemoista, joita käsitellään kunkin kumppaniorganisaation oppilaiden ja opettajien yhteistyössä suunnittelemilla ja toteuttamilla opetustuokioilla sekä vierailuilla teemaa tukevissa, paikallisissa kohteissa. Hankkeen ensimmäinen tapaaminen on Suomessa ja sen tavoitteena on käydä hankkeen pääteemat: vesi, energia ja ekologiset valinnat- toiminnallisin menetelmin, opettaen teeman lisäksi tapoja käsitellä aiheita seikkailupedagogisin keinoin. Muissa hanketapaamisissa nuorisokeskuksen edustaja arvioi ja antaa palautetta opettajille ja oppilaille siitä, kuinka he onnistuvat omissa ohjaustuokioissaan tuomaan toiminnalliset metodit käytäntöön ja tukee palautteen kautta toiminnan kehittämistä. Keskuksen ohjaajalla on myös vastuu kunkin tapaamisen aikaisesta tiimityötaitojen vahvistamisesta ja ryhmäyttämisestä.
Tapaamisten välissä, kouluissa suunnitellaan ja toteutetaan teeman mukaisia kampanjoita. Hankkeen aluksi ja lopuksi mitataan myös kunkin organisaation ”egologinen” tila, hankkeen aikana kehitettävän mittariston avulla.
Project meeting in Romania 16.-20.10.2023
The theme of project meeting in Romania was water. Students and teachers from each country had prepared micro teaching session to each other’s around the theme. The perspectives of water pollution, saving water and connection to climate change were took under research as well as statistics of the condition of usable water in different places.
The role of the youth center instructor was to organize team building activity under the theme and give feedback of the used methods of teaching sessions specially about how well the practical methods were included to traditional teaching.
The hosting organization Seminarul Teologic Liceal Ortodox ”Sf. Gheorghe” Botosani provided wonderfull week around the theme and local culture. Week included visits to local authorities of city of Botasani, protected lake district and nature trails to increase the awareness of local realities and relation to water nature protection. The hosts also provided great amount of knowledge of their daily schoolwork and facilities with historical background.
Project meeting in Turkey 20.-24.5.2024
The last live meeting of project was help in Antalya. The theme of project meeting in Turkey was eco-friendly lifestyle. Students and teachers from each country had prepared micro teaching session to each other’s around the theme with PowerPoints, group work actions and practical activities.
This time youth center sent two workers to meeting to evaluate the used methods of teaching and take part to cultural exchange and plan the steps for further cooperation between partners after project.
The hosting organization Akdediz Anadolu Lisesi welcomed us warm hearted and provided versatile week around the theme and local culture. Week included visits to local school and authorities of city of Antalya, local museum, and marine nature.
