Youth Centre
Ankkapurha Youth Centre is one of eight national youth centers supported and supervised by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Primarily, we serve national youth activities, camp and nature school programs, as well as youth tourism. In addition to children’s and youth camps, confirmation camps, and day trips, our expertise also includes organizing corporate events, meetings, recreational days, and family celebrations.
Ankkapurha Youth Centre offers an experiential, safe, and nature-oriented riverside setting, located just an hour and a half’s drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. You can find us in Anjala village, Kouvola, by the Kymi River.
The facilities at the Youth Centre and the wide range of programs available enable us to organize various types of events. We offer 149 good-quality accommodation spaces for groups, catering services, a sauna, meeting rooms, and professional staff. We are open year-round.
By using the services of the youth centre, you support work for the benefit of children and youth. Youth centers are non-profit, public-benefit organizations, and any potential profit is reinvested into the development of youth center activities. We aim to provide young people with positive experiences of the world and interacting with others. In our work, we adhere to the Youth Act, and our programs have clear goals that support the growth and development of young people.
