Manor and Culture

The Ankkapurha area is full of living history. The Anjala Manor and the Makasiini Cafe located in an old grain storehouse, both open in summertime, along with the Regina School, which is open year-round, and the main building of the area in the old stone barn, make the Ankkapurha area on the Anjala village side truly unique.

On the other side of the Kymijoki River, in Inkeroinen, you will find the Ankkapurha Industrial Museum. In the museum, visitors can explore the working and living conditions at the current Stora Enso Anjalankoski mills during the summer, as well as the development of the forest industry over the past 150 years.
